It’s no secret that middle school and high school is a LOT different than when you were ther; different trends, different pressures, different drugs... different everything. Know the Truth is here to help you stay up to date with your student and keep you and your student on the same page.

Whether your student is making great choices or poor choices, it’s the time in their life where they're beginning to make their own choices. There are a lot of unknowns and every situation is different. Will they make the right choice? Will they tell me if they make the wrong choice?

We can help. While we don’t and won’t have all the answers, what we do have is a dedicated team of people who have struggled with addictions, recovered from them and have been trained to share. We know the choices we made and why we made them. We also know what it took to overcome them.

The web is full of information about addictions - much of it's good and some of it's bad. To make things simple, we’ve compiled some of the most helpful and realistic resources for you. Hopefully, this will help keep you informed.

Our stories, paired with helpful information, will give you a greater ability to stay connected and involved in your student’s life. Parental involvement in a student’s life is the strongest factor in influencing that student’s decision to abstain from substance abuse. We believethe best thing you can do is to show your student that you care by educating yourself about teenage substance abuse and talking with them in a constructive way.

Take a look at some of the resources - we thought these might have helped us when we were in the throes of addiction.  We trust they'll help you find ways to connect with your teen and help him or her make the choice to abstain from drug and alcohol use. Feel free to contact us for more information.
